Halo, is not what u guys might be thinking right now...no, it absolutely has nothing to do with High Altitude Low Opening jump...
Oh you guys don't even know what is a Halo Jump?
In the HALO technique, the parachutist opens his parachute at a low altitude after free-falling for a period of time.
No no no no no (Zohan's Style).....the HALO that im talking about is actually a Fictional Ringworld which is first introduced in the game called Halo: Combat Evolved...
it refers to an enormous artificial space habitat similar to a Culture Orbital(search in wikipedia for that term) discovered by the warship called Pillar of Autumn, which the central character, physically enhanced supersoldier Master Chief Petty Officer John-117, is aboard. With the help of his fellow marines and the ship's sexy AI, Cortana, the Master Chief discovers some of the secrets of Halo while fighting off members of the alien race, The Covenant, habitants of halo and archenemies of humanity who, presumably, wish to find Halo's secrets for themselves.
Halo: Combat Evolved is a first person shooter science fiction video game, created by Bungie Studios, which was at that time a subsidiary of Microsoft Game Studios. It was released for the Xbox game console on November 15, 2001, to wide critical acclaim, and is backwards-compatible with the Xbox 360. It is one of the most popular video games for the Xbox, with over five million copies sold. Its sales are rivaled by its sequel,Halo 2 and later by Halo 3.
It is also been released for PC since its huge success in Xbox.
